Counselling is a form of "talk therapy", it is a process where you will meet with myself, talk about issues and problems that you are facing. Counselling sessions aims to help with many aspects, it can be insightful, supportive, problem solving in a professional, genuine, empathic, confidential and non-judgemental stance.
Counselling can help many difficult life problems such as mental health conditions and personal problem solving. It allows you to talk about difficult events or emotions in your life, that may come with negative thoughts and behaviours, that you want to change, by learning new coping strategies for daily life.
"The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change"
Carl Rogers

Sessions take place in a calm private room where we will meet, and be seated across from each other. To ensure that the sessions are progressing beneficially, we will review your progress every 6 sessions and make any necessary adjustments to ensure you fully benefit from each session.
